Developer zecoxao who recently ported the Full NoBD patch originally from MiraLaTijera (MLT) CFW to Rebug 4.46. Now with help from dev. sguerrini97 they have managed to get the correct patches working for 4.5X CFW. There is not PUP released but these are the patches that CFW developers will need if they apply this patch, that will give support to launch apps/homebrew even without a BluRay and Logic Board in working condition.

A PUP is sure to arise soon, so play it safe and do not install any random PuPs. if you do not have the means to recover from a brick then you should await for positive feedback on any CFW PuP release. As some may try to rush to be the first to release. Below are the patches needed for FULL NoBD Support for 4.5X Custom Firmwares so enjoy scene developers.

Note 3.55 user's have this option: FERROX 3.55 and 4.46 user have Rebug 4.46

About this CFW Release:
This custom firmware is designed primarily for those who have a bluray player with the logic board broken, and it is unable to start homebrew as the Factory Service Mode Tool 0.2.
In this way you can start and recover the BluRay player through the process of remarry without the aid of a flasher or Dongle .

DOWNGRADE:

If you eventually want to downgrade from any version of CFW FERROX 4.x to an OFW CFW 3.xx or 4.xx, you have the foresight to have installed the first qaflag and set the DEBUG SYSTEM UPDATE "ON".

(For all those who incur 8002F157 error, it means you have not activated the MODE 'ON DEBUG ON qaflag through and then have to do the deashing on the console)

I remind you that, even if the CFW's has been tested by many users, it OpenModding.net the developer will take responsibility for any damage caused to your PS3.

To correct this error: Install CFW 4:21 Rebug or CFW that allows you to activate the qa flag and the mode 'debugging. Upgrade to OFW 3:55 for two times in a row. (That's right, to install RECOVERY twice the OFW 3.55. Proceed with the installation of any other CFW's)

I remind you that the starting point of this custom firmware is 3:55 Original Firmware or any custom firwmare ..

download and install the package
launch the application, choose enable or disable spoof 4.60
Then put yes to two successive questions (yes to reboot, yes to hard reboot).
Console restarts and ok.

The FW is very similar to the 4:55 then there have been no tests on all models of the PS3. I did the test on my console and it was fine, clean installation, and all Feature running. However do yourself a backup of the NOR and NAND, for safety.

Unfortunately there are still Backup Manager updated, so you'll have to wait a little.

Added System Manager

System Manager adjusts fan speed depending on the internal temperature of PS3. It was also developed by Estwald.
We added support to CFW 4.55 DEX and one function that allows to change the speed of the system manager through the program *CFW Setup v2 (see note below)
If you have a PS3 at risk YLOD the system manager will save your console! Use it!!

Added change of console id at boot of console.

Through the program *CFW Setup v2 you can set a new console id that will be applied automatically each time you start the PS3.
Useful for unban your PS3.
If you not imposted any console id, the console id is change from DEX to CEX. This allow you to connect to PSN.
Work in all Boot Mode (Debugger Mode, System Software, Release Mode).

**IMPORTANT (READ IT)
If you're on CFW PS3ITA COBRA 4.50 DEX install this CFW from recovery menu.
There is no danger to install it from xmb, but sometimes ps3 after copying the PUP inside the HD does not restart properly and stays on a black screen.
The workaround is just turn manually off/on the ps3 and install the CFW will start automatically.

*CFW SETUP V2
This program allows you to configure the CFW.
You can turn OFF/ON the System Manager, adjust fan speed, set up a new console id , restore the original console id, change the type of sys_conf_plugin from DEX to CEX.

Currently there is no Backup Manager that support the CFW 4.55 dex.
Unfortunately we not have time to update our PS3ita Manager.

Every developer if he wants can easily add support to our CFW (everything is ready).
