This is a plugin that disables the sleep timer on your PSVita. This can be useful for hackers or modders that should need their device on for a long period of time.

It also may fix the sleep issue in some games where the savedata gets corrupt after the device goes to sleep. I have not tested this, so its up to the community to try it out.

WARNING: this will drain your battery very quickly, since your device never goes to sleep.

To install, simply add the path of this plugin to your taihen config under the *KERNEL section.

Remember this can be a dangerous process see notes for more info.

Copy the .self to somewhere on your vita and then add it to the enso boot config (ur0:tai/boot_config.txt) with "-spawnwait ux0:pathtoself/name.self".

Installation

Copy pngshot.suprx to ur0:tai and add ur0:tai/pngshot.suprx below *main in ur0:tai/config.txt.

Note that this was only tested with retail SceShell. If, for some reason, you have some weird modifications done to your SceShell, this plugin will probably crash your Vita.

Usage

Press PS button + Start to take a screenshot. You can access screenshots with the Photos app, or from ux0:picture/SCREENSHOT.

Additional notes

To compile this plugin from source, you need a custom build of libpng (the one in vdpm will not work). Check out libpng directory for a working VITABUILD.

This application displays a white screen at max brightness. Your brightness settings will be saved and re applied on close of application.
